By entering to win the Free Grooming for a Year Giveaway, Free Dog Daycare for a Year Giveaway or both; any and all participants agree to the following terms:
Winners: One winner for each contest will be chosen by random draw using a third party database at end of contest. Winner will be notified by e-mail after 12/15/2022 and before 12/31/2022.
How to enter to win: One free entry to win with no purchase necessary may be submitted online at BarkPlaceNYC.com or in person at Bark Place NYC located at 1404 1st Avenue NY, NY 10021 with no purchase necessary until 12/10/22. (Duplicate no purchase necessary entries will be removed by database). One auto entry will be submitted to database in name of each pet and their owner at time of checkout for every service booked & completed between 11/21/22 and 12/15/22. Bark Place NYC ownership and management also reserves the right to reward additional opportunities to enter to win as they see fit. All entries will be managed by a third party database that will select the winner of each contest by a random draw.
What winners will receive in the form or prizes awarded: Free Grooming winner: The winner of the random draw for grooming will receive up to one free grooming service of their choice each month between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023 at time of booking. The winner of the random draw for grooming will be required to choose one of the following as their free grooming prize: full groom, bath or bundle of 3 a la carte services (that will be known as one grooming service for the extent of this agreement) based on their pet’s grooming needs. Once that service has been established it can not be changed. Winner will be rewarded up to 12 free grooming services, one per month, as follows between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023. Winner can only use one free grooming service each month. Service will be rewarded as credits to winner’s account at the time of booking their appointment each month that an appointment is booked is booked between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023.
If winner chooses bath service each of the following will be included in the free session: bath, blowout, nails clipping, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, teeth brushing, cologne and accessory (when applicable). If winner chooses full groom service they will receive all of the services included with a bath and will also receive a standard breed haircut. If winner chooses a la care services, they can choose up to 3 a la carte services from the a la carte menu listed at BarkPlaceNYC.com/services at the time of booking.
Free Daycare winner: The winner of the random drawing for free daycare for a year will receive one dog daycare full day 10 pack at the beginning of each month for 12 months starting on 01/01/2023 with the last package being awarded on 12/01/2023. Any and all unused days that have accrued on account will expire and be removed from the winner’s account at midnight on 12/31/2023. Reservations are required and subject to availability. Winner is
All prizes expire 365 days from the first appointment booked after being identified as contest winners or on 12/31/23 whichever is first.
Additional Terms & conditions:
Each prize is not transferable and can only be used by the dog that is identified as the winner as long as pet remains with the same winner at time of drawing. Grooming winner will not be able to request a specific groomer for each grooming appointment booked and their assigned groomer could change at any time without notice. Appointments are on a first come first serve basis and must be booked with the proper party to be established once prize has been claimed. Winning pet may be required to pass a temperament and health check-up at any time throughout the process. If person conducting the aforementioned tests deem the winner unable to continue for any reason, prize becomes null and void. Winner must have up-to-date vaccination records on file at Bark Place NYC at all times. If documentation of up-to-date vaccinations is not provided, services will be refused until proper documentation is provided. Prize includes cost of services and sales tax, but does not include gratuity for staff or any add-on services including but not limited to dematting, deshedding, flea & tick treatments, transportation, outside walks, additional feedings, late pick up or drop off fees, cancellation fees, injuries to pet by another pet while under Bark Place NYC’s care, infection or outbreak,
Name and likeness of winning pet may be used in post-event promotions or in various other promotions or advertising campaigns for Bark Place NYC between 12/01/2022 and 12/02/2023 for no additional compensation. Pet owners of winning pet agree to sign a non-disclosure agreement, non-complete agreement and standard liability agreements prior to accepting any of the prize or rewards. Failure to agree to any updates to the aforementioned documents by the facility between 01/01/2023 and 12/31/2023 will result in a complete void of all prizes no delivered.
Expiration and termination of prizes:
If the winning pet receives 12 complimentary services in one calendar year; if the winning pet changes ownership; in the untimely loss of the winning pet; if winning pet parent or anyone representing the pet as the winner of either contest defames, negatively reviews or portrays Bark Place NYC or any of its affiliates or entities negatively either in writing or verbally; if owner refuses to provide availability to pet for any promotional request including but not limited to photo/video shoot, in-person events or other promotions as requested; if pet receives unsatisfactory results on any temperament or medical testing; if pet is relocated and unable to travel to a Bark Place NYC location to obtain service; if at any point pet presents the risk of harm or damage to other pets or people affiliated with Bark Place NYC; the prize will be deemed null and void immediately.
Opting out/ unclaimed prizes:
Client entered via auto entry and do not wish to participate may opt out if chosen and notified as winner at which time a replacement drawing will be conducted. If no contestant matching the winning information comes forward within 2 weeks of being notified via e-mail as the winner, a second winner will be picked at random draw. Bark Place NYC observes the right to eliminate unqualified contestants without notificaiton or warning.
Indemnification:
Participants shall fully indemnify, release and defend Bark Place Inc, its directors, owners, officers, employees, agents, stockholders and affiliates from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs), whether or not involving a third party claim, which arise out of or relate to this giveaway.
