Bark Place Inc. Customer Loyalty Rewards Program – Terms of Service

Effective Date: 9/4/2024

By participating in the Bark Place Customer Loyalty Rewards Program (“Program”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The Program is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have a valid account with Bark Place Inc.

• Participation in the Program is limited to personal use only; businesses or commercial entities are not eligible to participate.

2. Enrollment

• All registered Bark Place NYC clients are automatically enrolled into this program.   You do not need to opt out if you do not wish to participate.  

3. Earning Points

• Program members will earn one (1) Bark Buck (“point”) for every dollar ($1.00) spent on services, packages or foster sponsorships at Bark Place NYC.  There will also be other opportunities to earn points by completing tasks, meeting certain criteria or as a bonus to other promotions when no purchase will be necessary.

• Certain services, discounts, gift cards, and promotional items may not be eligible to earn points. Taxes, tips, and fees do not count toward point accumulation.

• Points may take 24-48 hours to appear in balance after each qualifying purchase.

4. Redeeming Points

• Points can be redeemed for store credits that can then be used to pay for services and packages. Points cannot be used to pay taxes, gratuity, or any fees.

  • For conversion purposes each store credit converts to .05

• Points cannot be redeemed for cash, and no cash value will be given for unused points.

• Points cannot be used or combined with any other offer unless specified in the other deal’s ToS. 

•   Rewards are subject to availability and may change or be substituted at Bark Place Inc.’s discretion.

*To redeem your points, you must contact at Bark Place team member for assistance.  You are not able to redeem your points yourself. 

5. Points Expiration

• Points will expire if there is no qualifying activity (earning or redeeming points) on your account for a consecutive 12-month period.

• Expired points and points that have already been redeemed cannot be reinstated.  

6. Program Changes and Termination

• Bark Place Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, including point accrual and redemption procedures, at any time without prior notice.

• In the event of termination, any unused points must be redeemed within 30 days of notice of termination. After this period, points will be forfeited.

7. Account Closure

• If a Program member’s account is closed for any reason, including at the member’s request or due to misuse of the Program, any unused points will be forfeited immediately.

• Misuse includes, but is not limited to, fraud, abuse of the Program, or violation of these terms.

8. Non-Transferability

• Points are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be combined with points from another member’s account.

• Points may not be sold, bartered, or exchanged for any other benefit except as provided in these Terms.

9. Communications

• By enrolling in the Program, members agree to receive marketing and promotional communications related to the Program. Members can opt-out of these communications at any time.

10. Privacy

• All personal information provided in connection with the Program will be handled in accordance with Bark Place Inc.’s Privacy Policy.

11. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from or related to the Program will be subject to the laws of the state of New York, and any legal actions will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, NY.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Bark Place Inc. will not be liable for any technical errors or malfunctions, including issues with the tracking of points or the redemption of rewards.

• Bark Place Inc. reserves the right to cancel, void, or reverse points in cases of suspected fraud,
