That’s why we have created the Bark Bucks Customer Loyalty Rewards program. We are excited to have a way to show you how much we appreciate your loyal support!

Simply put, you’ll earn one Bark Buck for every dollar that you spend on grooming, doggie daycare or packages at Bark Place NYC. Then once you hit the threshold, you can cash your Bark Bucks in for store credit that can then be used to make future purchases at Bark Place NYC. Below you will find all the details from how to earn them to how to cash them in.

How you earn Bark Bucks:

  • Earn 1 Bark Buck for every $1 spent on grooming, daycare or packages.  
  •  [Look out for other chances to earn Bark Bucks throughout the year.]
  • Each Bark Buck is worth $0.03 in store credit when redeemed but has no actual dollar value.
  • Taxes, tips, and fees do not count toward point accumulation.

How you redeem Bark Bucks:

  • Bark Bucks can be redeemed once you have at least 500 accrued, and in 250 increments thereafter. Once you reach a threshold, you can decide to redeem at that amount as long as you have a count equal to or higher than that threshold.
  • If you “let ‘em ride” and wait until you have 750 or 1000 Bark Bucks to redeem them, then you will get a bonus as well.

This is the conversion rate: ‘:

  • 500 Bark Bucks = $15 store credit for any service or package, –
  • 750 Bark Bucks = $25 store credit for any service or package [includes $2.50 store credit bonus
  • 1000 Bark Bucks = $35 store credit for any service or package [includes $5 store credit bonus]

Ready to redeem yours?

When you reach one of the above thresholds and want to redeem your Bark Bucks for store credit, you simply notify us and a team member will convert them for you. You can do so by calling 212-737-3510 or sending a text to 888-304-1775 or telling us in person at Bark Place NYC. All you have to do is provide us with your name and tell us how many Bucks you want to redeem.

Once you have converted your Bark Bucks into store credits, they will remain on your account until you are ready to use them, but cannot be reinstated as Bark Bucks.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a tier has been reached, you are responsible for letting us know if you are ready to redeem your Bark Bucks for store credits. You will be able to keep track of your Bark Bucks balance using the online customer portal at BarkPlaceNYC.com, however you are not able to redeem Bark Bucks for store credit without the assistance of a Bark Place NYC team member. To notify a team member that you would like to redeem your Bark Bucks for store credit, you can call us, text us or tell us in person. It might take 24-48 hours for your store credits to appear on your account after you have redeemed them.

Use them before you lose them!

All Bark Bucks expire one year from the date they are rewarded to you. You will want to keep track of when your Bark Bucks are set to expire, because if you don’t use them…. you will lose them. If your Bark Bucks Balance drops before you cash them in, its because the oldest ones have expired. That’s why its important to check your balance regularly!

Expired Bark Bucks cannot be reinstated under any circumstances.

We want you to be able to use the Bark Bucks you earned! So here are a few tips to help you out:

  1. Check your balance to see how many Bark Bucks you have, when the oldest ones are going to expire and how many you need to reach the threshold before and after each appointment.
  2. You can avoid losing the ones that are about to expire by making a purchase that will push you over the threshold. Maybe booking a groom, bath or daycare appointment before the expiration date will be enough. If not, you can always purchase a grooming or daycare package. Daycare packages can be purchased in the customer portal here on this site. To get a grooming package, you just send a text to 888-304-1775 or give us a call at 212-737-3510.

Tip: When you sponsor a foster dog’s make over, you will receive Bark Bucks equalent to the size of your sponsorship.  [For example, make a $50 sponsorship, and you’ll get $50 in Bark Bucks automatically added to your account. ] To sponsor a foster dog, purchase that package under the packages section of the customer portal or contact a team member.

OTHER PERTINENT INFO:

  • Minimum Redemption: 500 Bark Bucks, and then again each time your accumulate at least 250 thereafter.
  • Exclusions: Store credits can not combined with other offers unless that offer specifically states that it can be used with store credits in its terms. Store credits cannot be used to pay for taxes or tips.
  • Expiration: Bark Bucks expire 12 months after being earned. So use ‘em or lose ‘em! Once expired, they cannot bw reinstated under any circumstances.
  • You do not need to sign up to participate in the Bark Bucks Customer Loyalty Rewards Program. All Bark Place clients who registered prior to September 2024 were automatically signed up when the program launched. All new clients be signed up as a part of the registration.
